Hey everybody!
I meant to start Learning 2.0 earlier and then I thought I was too late to go ahead and start, but here I am. Hopefully we aren't being tested for grammar and syntax because I tend to get a little lazy when it comes to typing. I'll try my darndest to live up to my English degree and produce well thought out sentences that include a subject, a predicate, and all that other junk. :)
The video we watched in the last lesson was very informative! I thought it touched all the bases on what 2.0 is trying to relate. I know that this will be helpful to everyone involved no matter how much or how little we know about this animal we call 'the internet.'

- Key points of me. I get nervous around older, more educated people. I wish I could go to school forever...but only if I could take the classes I want like a variety of studio art classes peppered with some southern american literature and a sprinkle of pop art and art history. I am 2 semesters from graduating with my masters in Library Science at the University of Kentucky. I plan to work with tweens and young adults at a Public level. It's just where I want to be. I hope to one day add a masters in Museum studies to my repertoire. I have a cat named Patrick who has more personality than most people I meet. I think smart cars are only smart in Europe and will be way too overpriced to be smart here in the States. We tend to ruin things. It's science. I idolize Whitney Matheson, a pop culture writer who has a column called 'Pop Candy' in USA Today. She gets paid to go to concerts, keep up with the latest internet trends, watch tv, and go to comic conventions. I want her job. Pop culture guru. I love football. Go Steelers! My husband loves the Bengals...somehow we make it work. One last tidbit...I hate newsprint...do with that what you will.
